London's demographics explored by processing 2011 Census data with a statistical sorting method called cluster analysis. Attention is then focused on the sounds of the 12 archetypal council wards emerging from the study.

Cluster 12

Highest for Bangladeshi population, and purpose-built flats. Second highest for long-term unemployed, population density, Chinese population, non-domestic buildings as a proportion of land area, social housing and privately-rented housing. Lowest for average age, Other Asian population, domestic gardens as a proportion of land area, detached and semi-detached houses, and outright ownership of homes. Second lowest for Indian and Pakistani populations, terraced houses, and mortgages.
