London's demographics explored by processing 2011 Census data with a statistical sorting method called cluster analysis. Attention is then focused on the sounds of the 12 archetypal council wards emerging from the study.

Cluster 11

Highest for English as the main household language, administrative occupations, White British population, domestic gardens as a proportion of land area, semi-detached houses, and mortgages. Second highest for average age, detached houses, and outright ownership of homes. Lowest for Mixed Race and Other Ethnicities populations, and purpose-built flats. Second lowest for households without a car, Other White and Bangladeshi populations, non-domestic buildings as a proportion of land area, house conversions, and social housing.
