Description: Starting on Lewisham High Street at the north end of the market. A motorbike pulls out and heads off down Lee High Road; traffic; children wail; shoppers' voices; calls of starlings; a tinny drumming sound made by a child's toy; footsteps and rustling of carrier bags; recorded music from stalls; market traders' voices; a briefly reverberant tone under the awning of Lewisham shopping centre; clattering of cookware; a busker plays an amplified violin; a fishmonger's electric saw.
