Old publications about street cries

Street cries were once a popular subject of songs and literature in Britain, continental Europe and elsewhere. Each month throughout 2018 I'll be scanning and transcribing publications to build this collection.

This fairly recent publication contains what seem to be reproductions of 19th-century illustrations. The book, however, says nothing about their provenance, and doesn’t have a foreword or introduction, nor is the artist named.
